Estate Planning Process
Step One: Complimentary Consultation
Kristin will provide you with a complimentary consultation. During this step, Kristin will listen to your estate planning needs and questions, gather initial information about your estate, address your concerns and answer your initial questions. She will also give you the information you need to determine how to proceed.
Step Two: Information Gathering
Kristin will send you a confidential form for you to complete. Once completed, Kristin will have an initial understanding of your assets and debts, and estate planning needs and goals.
Step Three: Planning Meeting
Kristin will meet with you to discuss your assets and debts. Based upon your estate, Kristin will explain the various estate planning options to you and the requirements and effects of each option. She will then help you to ascertain how you want to use your assets during your lifetime, and how you want to later pass them on to your family, loved ones, and/or charities. During this step, you will become familiar with the various estate planning tools. Together you and Kristin will decide on the best structure to meet your estate planning goals and needs.
Step Four: Implementation
The documents required to fulfill your estate planning objectives will be prepared for you.
Step Five: Signing Meeting
You will meet with Kristin and she will provide you with your completed estate planning documents. She will explain your documents to you. Once your questions are answered, you will execute your planning documents.
Step Six: Delivery of Your Estate Plan
Kristin will provide you with an estate planning portfolio which contains your estate planning documents. When you receive your documents, you will feel a peace of mind knowing that you have taken care of your financial affairs and health care decisions for you and your loved ones.
Business Planning Process
There is not one process that applies to every type of Business Planning transaction. However, most will follow the following process:

Kristin will provide you with a complimentary consultation. Whether you want to start a new business, are already operating a business, or are planning to sell or buy a business, Kristin will listen to your business planning needs and questions and provide you with the information you need to determine how to proceed.
Step Two: Information Gathering
Based upon on your business planning needs and goals, Kristin will gather additional information from you in order to design the best plan of action for you.
Step Three: Discussion and Implementation
Together you and Kristin will decide on the best structure to meet your business planning goals and needs.
If you are starting a new business, Kristin will discuss the various forms of entity with you and help youselect the most appropriate choice for your business needs, and will thereafter form your entity in compliance with state and federal business and tax laws.
If you are already operating a business, Kristin will discuss the options that will most efficiently meet your business needs and will draft the documents necessary to implement the selected options.
If you are buying or selling a business, Kristin will advise you on the state and federal business and tax laws and will prepare the documents necessary to ensure the proper consummation of the purchase and sale transaction.
